Welcome to Music Theatre at Wilson Elementary! I couldn’t be more excited to bring another musical to the Wilson stage for the 2018-2019 year. This year our show will be the hilarious tale of Shrek Jr. – get excited!

MUSIC THEATRE PARENT INFORMATION:

WHO: Any 3rd – 5th grade learners can participate in music theatre.

All specific roles will have auditions. If your child is not selected for a role, they are ensemble members. If your child is selected for a role, they are both an ensemble member and the cast role.

WHEN: Music Theatre will meet on Tuesdays after school from 3:05-4:00.

Dismissal after Music Theatre will be in the front loop. Walkers will be allowed to walk home normally. Car riders will have to wait as cars pull forward. They will not be allowed to walk to cars parked in the side loop.

WHERE: Rehearsals will take place mainly in the music room and gym as we learn lyrics and choreography. In December/January, we will begin rehearsing on stage to put it all together.

WHAT TO WEAR: ALL cast members will be asked to purchase a Music Theatre shirt. We will use these shirts for cast pictures, staging, and promotion. For specific costumes, you will receive information in the weeks ahead!
