Tamba Marimba is an auditioned group of 5th grade learners who perform African-styled marimba music on our Orff instruments. The xylophones, drums, and hand percussion combine to make a listening experience that should not be missed!

Tamba Parent Information

WHEN: Tamba rehearses on Wednesday mornings from 7:10-7:40.

Tamba members also have the option of rehearsing on Monday and Tuesday mornings before school from 7:20-7:40 in the music room. This is not required, but a good option for getting those tough parts learned!

PERFORMANCES: Performance dates and times will be emailed directly to parents, as well as posted on the Wilson music website calendar (see main menu).

WHERE: Rehearsals take place in the music room.

WHAT TO WEAR: ALL Tamba members must own a Tamba shirt and jeans. We will wear this for all performances.
